Responsibilities
- Develop clean, efficient, well-documented full-stack software and RESTful APIs with minimal supervision.
- Lead small technical initiatives and deliver reliable, scalable, performant, accessible, testable, and secure software solutions.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, maintenance, live-service monitoring, and defect resolution.
- Participate in incident root-cause analysis and improve application security, maintenance, resilience, and custodianship governance.
- Apply test automation, programming tools, system design, approved build patterns, and release guidelines.
- Mentor early-career engineers, share knowledge through technical communities, and contribute to team capability building.
- Communicate requirements and delivery updates with stakeholders and collaborate on project discussions.
- Provide hardware, software, and network support as needed.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of software engineering experience.
- Full-stack software engineering and RESTful API experience.
- Ability to develop stable, scalable, performant, accessible, testable, and secure software.
- Experience with code reviews, debugging, maintenance, live-service support, monitoring, and incident root-cause analysis.
- Understanding of system design, application-domain technologies, build and release frameworks, and technical debt reduction.
- Ability to lead small technical initiatives, estimate effort, solve complex problems, and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience applying test automation, programming tools, and DevOps principles.
- Ability to mentor early-career engineers and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to apply traditional and agile delivery practices, critical thinking, prioritization, and logical analysis.
- Ability to apply basic AI concepts using established tools and procedures.
