Base Salary
$120k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
- Own observability and monitoring using Datadog or Dynatrace.
- Improve incident management, runbooks, automated remediation, and mean time to resolution.
- Provision and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Write operational automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate with VA engineering teams to resolve issues and improve platform stability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with Datadog or Dynatrace for monitoring and observability.
- Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Certain roles may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance.
- Familiarity with the VA Platform, GitHub enterprise practices, or VA.gov standards is a plus.
