Responsibilities
- Own scoped feature and model delivery for services, APIs, and UI through implementation, iteration, testing, deployment, and support.
- Write clean, efficient, reliable code using multiple programming languages and manage the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD deployments and automation.
- Integrate AI/ML components and generative AI tools into software solutions.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, documentation, and evaluation of technical trade-offs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements and success metrics.
- Monitor application performance, maintain uptime, and proactively resolve issues.
- Mentor peers and support continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
- Experience delivering scoped features and managing the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous development methodologies.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and using generative AI tools to enhance development.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of software engineering experience without the degree.
- A master's degree in a relevant field and 1 year of software engineering experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, digital accessibility, and accessibility best practices is preferred.
- Strong technical judgment, collaboration, decision-making, trade-off evaluation, and mentorship skills.
