Responsibilities
- Exercise strong engineering judgement in evolving or breaking from existing patterns.
- Design and build user experiences, including complex audio-centric workflows.
- Develop accessible, intuitive, and performant user interfaces.
- Develop secure and performant APIs and supporting infrastructure for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer delivery teams.
- Participate meaningfully in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Contribute to shared application infrastructure, component library, and design system.
- Improve system reliability, observability, and performance.
- Handle engineering escalations from customer-facing teams during on-call shifts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building production web applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience building applications with React and Node.js.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of distributed systems and scalability concepts.
- Strong debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
