Responsibilities
- Build and maintain platform APIs for authentication, billing, account management, and related business operations.
- Develop features supporting next-generation TTS and end-to-end speech models.
- Integrate and migrate token-based authentication and billing or metering providers.
- Maintain and harden the existing TTS API stack.
- Build realtime, low-latency, horizontally scalable streaming speech infrastructure.
- Work broadly across platform, systems, infrastructure, and other evolving company needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of individual-contributor engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals.
- Experience with at least one low-level language: C++, Rust, or Go.
- Systems-level understanding of networking, storage, and runtime layers.
- Ability to design clean, loosely coupled, codified, and reproducible systems.
- Comfort working through unfamiliar codebases and shipping independently.
- Strong asynchronous written communication skills.
