Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Agentic AI)

Responsibilities
- Partner directly with customers and product teams to turn hardware review workflows into agent capabilities.
- Design, ship, and operate agentic systems that reason over large-scale time-series data and hardware context.
- Build agent tool interfaces, sandboxed execution environments, context and memory management, compaction algorithms, skills, and guardrails.
- Develop and maintain Sift’s MCP server for querying telemetry.
- Build frontend experiences and APIs for Sift Agents across the full stack.
- Run agents reliably at scale in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Build evaluation suites and monitor agent quality, latency, cost, and failure modes in production.
- Integrate and assess frontier models across providers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building frontend web applications with technologies such as React or NextJS.
- Experience building APIs or backend services with technologies such as Go, Python, or Rust.
- Interest in evaluating new AI products, agents, models, and features.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected-individual status is required for ITAR/EAR compliance.
Benefits
- Salary range of $170,000-$220,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.
- Hybrid collaboration in Marina Del Rey, CA, with in-person work twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Candidates may relocate to Los Angeles or work from the San Francisco office.
- The role includes a full in-person company week every two months.
- U.S. Person status is required for ITAR/EAR compliance.
