Responsibilities
- Build the foundation for deploying AI features across Betterment teams.
- Deliver the AI platform strategy, including shared infrastructure and evaluation frameworks.
- Contribute to projects that expand AI technical capabilities.
- Embed with product teams to ship customer-facing AI functionality.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance leaders to ensure responsible AI development.
- Mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and impact.
Requirements
- Proven ability to establish a strategic vision for AI systems.
- Experience with LLM systems, including prompt engineering and evaluation.
- Background in operating AI features in production with quality assurance.
- Fullstack development experience with React, GraphQL, and server-side languages.
- Ability to navigate the balance between speed, quality, and regulatory needs.
- Experience collaborating across different teams and disciplines.
