Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated verification workflows for analog and mixed-signal designs.
- Build methodology solutions around Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre/APS, ADE Explorer/Assembler, and related AMS platforms.
- Create automation frameworks for AC/DC, transient, noise, linearity, matching, corner, and Monte Carlo coverage.
- Integrate design environments, databases, and simulation tools into streamlined workflows.
- Develop reusable automation utilities using Python, SKILL, Tcl, or Perl.
- Partner with design, CAD, PDK, and software teams to improve productivity and quality.
- Drive methodology adoption, provide technical support, and support customer success for internal and external users.
- Create reference flows, training materials, and best-practice documentation.
- Develop regression, dashboard, and reporting infrastructure for design signoff.
Requirements
- M.Tech, M.E., or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in AMS methodology, CAD engineering, EDA applications engineering, or automation development.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre/APS, and ADE Explorer/Assembler.
- Strong software development skills in Python and at least one of SKILL, Tcl, or Perl.
- Understanding of AMS verification methodologies and design signoff requirements.
- Experience developing production-quality automation and regression infrastructure.
- Experience with design data management and revision control systems such as Perforce, DesignSync, or Git.
- Experience in EDA product development or applications engineering is desired.
- Experience verifying designs in GaAs, SiGe HBT, or advanced CMOS RF processes is desired.
- Familiarity with mixed-signal verification, including real-number modeling, co-simulation, or AMS flows, is desired.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, containerized environments, or cloud-based EDA workflows is desired.
