Responsibilities
- Design application components that meet business requirements and functional designs.
- Participate in design reviews, provide implementation input, and estimate effort.
- Develop clean, efficient, stable, reliable, and high-performing Java code.
- Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using modern testing frameworks.
- Support applications, troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and address production incidents.
- Create builds, deployment baselines, deployment notes, and operating instructions.
- Collaborate with financial experts to evaluate solutions and alternatives.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Java, including versions 8 through 25.
- Experience with Spring or Spring Boot and Spring Data or Hibernate.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Knowledge of RESTful services.
- Proficiency with Docker and containerization.
- Understanding of deployment in Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and Schema Registry.
- Advanced English skills.
- Preferred: Kafka Streams, WebSockets, Solr, Istio or another service mesh, and enterprise AI usage experience.
