Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance and user acceptance testing for customer-facing web applications.
- Create test plans, testing strategies, test cases, reusable test utilities, and test data strategies.
- Conduct manual, automated, functional, integration, API, cross-browser, cross-device, desktop, and mobile testing.
- Coordinate and manage releases involving feature updates, bug fixes, enhancements, and other product changes.
- Validate API integrations and collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and product stakeholders.
- Review workflows, user journeys, UI designs, business requirements, and acceptance criteria for testability and completeness.
- Manage project requirements and test results using Agile project and documentation tools.
- Review applications for accessibility and compliance, including ADA and WCAG 2.0 Level AA requirements.
- Use JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to debug UI issues, analyze DOM behavior, and support automated test development.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of quality assurance and manual testing experience with public-facing web applications.
- At least 3 years of experience on web-based software projects across the software development lifecycle.
- At least 2 years of automated testing experience using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools, including test architecture, reusable utilities, test data strategy, and CI/CD integration.
- At least 2 years of experience validating API integrations with tools such as Swagger and Postman or automated API testing frameworks.
- Previous release management experience.
- Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments and evaluating requirements, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with Figma, Miro, or similar workflow, diagramming, and design collaboration tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, ADO wiki, or similar project and knowledge management tools.
- Preferred experience with BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or similar cross-browser and cross-device testing platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Business, Management Information Systems, or Accounting concentration is preferred.
- Preferred experience testing CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Optimizely, ContentStack, or Contentful.
- Experience with ADA and WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance testing is desirable.
- Experience writing automated functional and integration test scripts.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Next.js, or similar front-end frameworks.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, prioritization, independent judgment, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
