Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with demanding reliability and performance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture, technology direction, platform roadmaps, and shared-services strategy.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers and architects.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and participate in technology communities.
- Lead architectural design reviews, establish coding standards and design patterns, and influence enterprise-wide technical standards.
- Implement observability and reliability practices and use observability to identify and optimize performance bottlenecks.
- Drive cross-functional engineering efforts and large-scale technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master's degree, 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and substantial experience with open source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience mentoring senior engineers, leading architecture reviews, establishing coding standards, implementing observability and reliability practices, influencing technology strategy, using modern AI coding tools, and leading large-scale technical initiatives.
