Responsibilities
- Develop and install software solutions based on business requirements.
- Analyze information needs, system flows, data usage, work processes, and operational feasibility.
- Investigate problem areas and provide solutions across the software development lifecycle.
- Design system specifications, standards, and programming solutions and prepare installations.
- Document and demonstrate solutions using documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments.
- Analyze development and service issues and recommend operational improvements.
- Collaborate with users, internal and external resources, and geographically distributed project teams.
- Protect confidential information and follow Mastercard security policies, practices, and training requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader, and/or development manager.
- Advanced knowledge of software engineering concepts and methodologies and understanding of the full SDLC.
- Experience with Core Java 1.8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, NoSQL databases, JSON, PCF cloud technologies, and Angular 4+.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools while supporting multiple concurrent activities.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment and across diverse, geographically distributed teams.
