Base Salary

$193k - $262k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build features and foundational services for Amazon Quick’s generative AI and agentic AI platform.
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable, efficient, reliable, and fault-tolerant software systems.
  • Lead technical projects and make significant contributions to product and business impact.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers on complex technical issues.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including coding, reviews, testing, operations, and source control.
  • Help shape the technology, product, and business in a fast-moving startup environment within Amazon.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with machine learning systems is preferred but not required.

Benefits

  • Base salary is listed at $193,300.00–$261,500.00 USD annually, with additional sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
