Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Flask.
- Build and consume APIs for internal and external system integration.
- Develop cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement data processing, transformation, and analytics pipelines using Polars and Python.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Use Redis for caching, session management, and performance optimization.
- Develop frontend components using HTML, CSS, and JSON-based integrations.
- Develop agentic AI solutions using coding agents.
- Create and execute automated web tests with Playwright.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, production support, CI/CD automation, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and Security teams while following secure coding, performance, and cloud governance requirements.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with Flask.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including preferred experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Container Apps.
- Strong SQL development skills with PostgreSQL and experience with Redis.
- Experience with Polars or similar data-processing frameworks such as Pandas or PySpark.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JSON.
- Git-based source control and collaborative development experience.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI development using coding agents.
- Experience creating and executing automated web tests with Playwright.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, OAuth, SSO, JWT, monitoring and logging solutions, Azure OpenAI, LLM-based applications, and Jira Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, stakeholder collaboration, ownership, and solution-design skills.
