Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications for product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance and platform convergence across engineering efforts.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer needs and organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and assist development staff with product feature delivery.
- Mentor engineers, foster learning and communication, and support teams in making effective technical decisions.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly with executives, peers, and development teams.
- Lead or contribute to cloud, DevOps, and AI modernization initiatives.
- Translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development or software development.
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 15 years of full-time education required.
- Significant experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, and system implementation or enhancement.
- Significant experience in analytical system engineering design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Preferred fluency in DevOps concepts and experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments.
