Responsibilities
- Communicate with external developers and help them build applications against Stripe’s infrastructure.
- Unblock developers’ integration challenges through email, ticketing systems, issue trackers, community platforms, and real-time chat.
- Create and maintain internal and external documentation, examples, integration demos, and code snippets.
- Identify developer friction and collaborate with engineering teams through planning sessions, design reviews, and development meetings.
- Develop and maintain internal support tooling, including LLM-based Copilot and Invoice Explainer Admin tools.
- Train internal non-developers and answer product integration questions in real time.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of full-stack software development experience building web or mobile applications.
- Experience explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to write clean code in multiple programming languages and read less-structured code.
- Ability to support users during regional working hours, with occasional weekend coverage for critical infrastructure.
- Clear and efficient writing, teaching or coaching experience, autonomy, and general software engineering skills are preferred.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering, or a related analytical field is preferred.
