Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot data center blockers and stakeholder concerns to achieve swift resolution.
- Design, improve, and iterate on internal tools, software, and automated frameworks for issue management.
- Create standardized technical playbooks and processes enabling Server Operations teams to resolve issues autonomously.
- Partner with Engineering and Server Operations to investigate and fix root causes of negative business outcomes.
- Manage project schedules and timelines, collaborate cross-functionally, and participate in weekend on-call duties or assigned work rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting, advocating for customer needs, and triaging hardware, software, application, operational, or process issues.
- Experience reading code in a general-purpose language such as Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, or JavaScript, or experience with system design.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with at least two of Web Technology, Data/Big Data, Systems Administration, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, or SAP.
- Preferred: technical consulting experience supporting enterprise customers with service-level objective and service-level agreement requirements.
- Preferred: cloud-computing experience through certifications, internships, or coursework.
- Preferred: full technical-project lifecycle ownership or experience developing backend applications or shell scripts.
Benefits
- Finland compensation is €58,000–€59,000 EUR plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Ireland compensation is €68,000–€69,500 EUR plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
