Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain the Hubs runtime platform using React, NodeJS, TypeScript, and Ruby.
- Design scalable user interfaces using microfrontend concepts.
- Improve templating systems so teams can build Hub experiences more efficiently.
- Write clean, efficient, tested, and documented code.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders on large-scale platform initiatives.
- Develop team technical standards and operational processes.
- Monitor, tune alerts, and respond to production incidents while supporting 99.99% uptime.
- Build continuous integration and continuous delivery systems that enable deterministic releases.
- Create scalable operational support strategies for junior developers.
- Mentor junior developers in technical and professional skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including test-driven development and UI/API design.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, React, and TypeScript is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience monitoring systems, tuning alerts, and responding to production alerts.
- Experience recommending technical investments for production service stability, performance, and scalability.
- Experience supporting short- and long-term technical goals and balancing immediate and future needs.
- Experience working remotely with distributed teams.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
