Responsibilities
- Analyze application systems, code, and user requirements to identify necessary enhancements and programming solutions.
- Design, install, support, test, debug, and maintain application systems.
- Identify application vulnerabilities and security issues and recommend solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups regarding application issues.
- Resolve problems using technical experience, precedent, and independent judgment.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts.
- Assess and report technology, compliance, and control risks.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
