Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, development, and modernization of enterprise platforms.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document complex software projects and programs.
- Develop companywide engineering standards and best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
- Review complex technology solutions against business objectives and enterprise technical environments.
- Lead projects, engineering teams, architecture reviews, and new technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, business stakeholders, and external industry groups.
- Mentor engineers and drive software delivery through AI-assisted engineering practices and Generative AI solutions.
- Improve software development lifecycle productivity through AI-enabled engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and platforms, or equivalent experience through work, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years building scalable enterprise applications with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture, API design, integration patterns, resiliency, observability, and secure application development.
- Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native applications with AWS, Azure, GCP, PCF, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
- At least 4 years of experience with ReactJS and modern frontend development frameworks.
- At least 2 years of experience with Camunda or similar BPM/workflow platforms.
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, MongoDB, relational databases, and microfrontend architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices using Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions, Gradle, or equivalent tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading engineering teams, architecture reviews, and large-scale initiatives.
- Practical experience using GitHub Copilot, Devin, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Hands-on experience delivering Generative AI solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks.
- Understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, and enterprise security considerations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and leadership skills.
- Preferred domain experience includes banking, financial services, operations, workflow automation, loan servicing, or related enterprise platforms.
