Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and networks.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and security design reviews for high-impact systems and services.
- Develop detection mechanisms, incident response playbooks, and remediation strategies.
- Drive automation of security operations, including monitoring, alerting, and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into development pipelines and platform architecture.
- Mentor junior security engineers and support technical growth across the security team.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure protection.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Deep experience with AWS/GCP/Azure security services and infrastructure hardening.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform).
- Proficiency with security tools (e.g., SIEMs, IDS/IPS, SAST/DAST, WAFs).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
