Responsibilities
- Design scalable data integration solutions using AWS services.
- Lead serverless ETL pipelines using AWS Glue for ingestion, transformation, and publishing.
- Architect and implement APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway with attention to versioning, pagination, security, and performance.
- Design authentication and authorization mechanisms using AWS Cognito, OAuth2, and mutual TLS.
- Build event-driven architectures using Amazon SQS, Amazon S3, and related AWS services.
- Design and optimize relational data models using Amazon Aurora, MySQL, and RDS Proxy.
- Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and integration best practices.
- Drive monitoring, observability, and operational excellence using CloudWatch, SNS, and incident management processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and downstream consumers to define scalable solutions.
- Create architecture documentation, design artifacts, technical specifications, and runbooks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong AWS architecture expertise.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Amazon SQS, Amazon S3, Amazon Aurora or RDS, AWS Cognito, and CloudWatch.
- Strong Python or Java development experience and expertise designing enterprise-grade REST APIs.
- Deep understanding of OAuth2, mutual TLS, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Strong SQL, data modeling, and database design experience.
- Experience with event-driven, microservices, distributed architectures, data integration, ETL/ELT, and enterprise data management.
- Preferred experience with Master Data Management platforms, especially Stibo STEP.
- Preferred experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormation, supply chain or product master data, Azure Service Bus, SFTP integrations, XML, CSV, and large-scale data exchange solutions.
- AWS Solution Architect Professional or Associate Certification is preferred.
