Responsibilities
- Code, test, debug, implement, and support real-time risk and PnL applications.
- Develop end-to-end technology solutions and end-user analytics dashboards.
- Analyze and resolve production issues involving data flows, application performance, system latency, and infrastructure or network outages.
- Collaborate with Trading and Quant teams to define requirements and own projects through completion.
- Perform data analysis and schema design for end-of-day and intraday risk data.
- Identify operational risks, control deficiencies, and automation opportunities.
- Use data science, statistical analysis, and visualization techniques to generate insights for Trading, Quant, and Risk Management teams.
- Suggest or implement frontend user-interface improvements.
- Demonstrate project implementations to executives, senior management, and technology teams.
- Use generative AI tools to improve day-to-day efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Java 17+ and working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, threading, and concurrency.
- Experience with Python; Django experience is highly desirable.
- Working experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other frontend technologies.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Apache Ignite, Solace, the Hadoop ecosystem, Maven, Unix, Spring, Spring Boot, and other development tools.
- Financial industry experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, independent-working, collaboration, and learning skills.
