Responsibilities
- Design, refactor, and modernise monolithic architecture into scalable and resilient distributed services.
- Establish foundational CI/CD practices, test-driven development methodologies, and automated testing frameworks across engineering groups.
- Work with AWS cloud infrastructure, C#, React, Kubernetes, and distributed event-driven systems.
- Define architectural patterns and contribute to company-wide technical standards and best practices.
- Guide and mentor engineers across multiple teams while influencing strategic technical decisions.
- Promote engineering quality and reliability across products serving millions of small businesses.
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience architecting, building, and operating complex distributed cloud applications.
- Proven ability to make major system design decisions and refactor monolithic codebases into modular microservices.
- Deep mastery of automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and domain-driven design.
- Strong technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
- Broad familiarity with modern technology stacks, cloud platform architecture, and containerised deployments.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
