Responsibilities
- Design, refactor, and modernise monolithic architecture into scalable and resilient distributed microservices
- Establish foundational CI/CD practices, test-driven development methodologies, and automated testing frameworks across engineering groups
- Work with AWS cloud infrastructure, C#, React, Kubernetes, and distributed event-driven systems
- Define architectural patterns and contribute to company-wide technical standards and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship across multiple teams
- Influence strategic decisions and elevate engineering quality, reliability, security, and scalability
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience architecting, building, and operating complex distributed cloud applications
- Proven ability to make major system design decisions and refactor monolithic codebases into modular microservices
- Deep expertise in automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and domain-driven design
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
- Broad familiarity with modern technology stacks, cloud platform architecture, and containerised deployments
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
