Base Salary
$98k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate and streamline software delivery.
- Administer and integrate Atlassian tools and other pipeline technologies across development and operations environments.
- Automate scheduled jobs, builds, tests, artifact generation, and other labor-intensive processes.
- Design and develop release-cycle and deployment operations for secure software programs.
- Configure and maintain Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Windows environments and collaborate with software, cross-functional, program management, and government customer teams.
- Provide technical leadership and drive solutions to complex DevOps and automation problems.
Requirements
- Principal Level 3 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related engineering experience, or a STEM master’s degree and 3 years, or a STEM PhD and 1 year.
- Senior Principal Level 4 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related engineering experience, or a STEM master’s degree and 6 years, or a STEM PhD and 4 years.
- Experience developing automation solutions for CI/CD pipelines and using Python or other scripting languages in a development environment.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Windows, Atlassian tools, plugins, Git, and Confluence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance and Special Access Program eligibility, with interim Secret clearance required to start.
- Preferred qualifications include build and release experience, automation frameworks, Python and Bash expertise, SELinux, Linux RPM configuration control, RHCSA or RHCE certification, version control, automation servers, automated testing, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and SaltStack.
- Ability to lead a team or provide technical leadership and willingness to work off-peak for short-term surge support.
