Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on engineering initiatives and mentor engineers across multiple teams.
- Design, build, and evolve cloud engineering platforms, developer tools, automated workflows, delivery pipelines, data, and metrics capabilities.
- Establish reusable patterns, standards, guardrails, self-service capabilities, templates, and standardized pipelines.
- Champion responsible AI-powered practices across coding, testing, documentation, and delivery.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, security, risk, governance, and data teams to deliver secure and resilient solutions.
- Improve observability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency while addressing technical debt and risk.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience designing practical solutions, writing high-quality code, and automating engineering workflows.
- Deep experience in one or more programming languages and the versatility to work across multiple languages and technology stacks.
- Experience designing, building, and operating cloud-based software or engineering platforms, ideally using Amazon Web Services.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code, continuous integration and delivery, observability, reliability engineering, and secure software development.
- Experience with containers and runtime platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes or equivalent technologies.
- Practical experience using AI-powered engineering tools to improve productivity, quality, testing, documentation, or automation.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts, influence decisions, guide teams through change, and mentor others.
