Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software components, services, APIs, integrations, enterprise applications, and user-facing applications.
- Translate complex business and system requirements into robust technical designs and maintainable software solutions.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, solution design discussions, technical walkthroughs, code reviews, and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, architects, Quality Engineering, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Support production systems through incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, defect resolution, and service improvement.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational practices while improving application performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security.
- Participate in requirements reviews, story elaboration, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile delivery activities.
Requirements
- Experience building applications using Java and PCF.
- Extensive experience with Java APIs.
- Some experience with HTML, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
- Experience optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Solid SQL development knowledge, including databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle, and experience delivering solutions at massive scale.
- Exposure to automated testing and releasing software through a continuous delivery model using Git.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred experience in commercial card or corporate banking environments.
- Ability to manage complex projects, operate with minimal supervision, make independent decisions, and work effectively in fast-paced, customer-oriented environments.
