Responsibilities
- Develop modern Angular applications to replace legacy AngularJS portals.
- Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET backend services and REST APIs for distributed compute workloads.
- Modernize legacy platform functionality while preserving business continuity.
- Contribute to migration toward Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads.
- Support Infrastructure as Code using OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Modernize deployment pipelines, release automation, and zero-downtime deployments.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests and participate in code reviews.
- Improve platform scalability, performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational resilience.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and software engineers.
- Participate in production support, on-call rotation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of commercial software development experience.
- Strong experience with C#, modern .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized applications.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native application development principles, with willingness to work with OpenTofu or Terraform.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and applying Clean Code principles and software design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and collaborative cross-functional engineering environments.
- Preferred experience with Azure Container Apps, Azure Batch, OpenTofu or Terraform, Playwright, SQL Server, Redis, SignalR, cloud-native platforms, and legacy enterprise application modernization.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, learning, and continuous-improvement skills.
