Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
- Assess DevOps processes, tools, and practices and recommend improvements.
- Design, present, implement, and govern DevOps, release management, and CI/CD solutions for Salesforce implementations.
- Select and implement DevOps tools and technologies, including deployment, testing, monitoring, and security tooling.
- Lead DevOps design sessions and architect solutions, or lead framework setup and execution for small-to-medium projects depending on level.
- Support pre-sales discovery, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development.
- Ensure successful continuous-delivery deployments across Salesforce environments and collaborate with Salesforce product teams.
- Use AI coding assistants and modern DevOps ecosystems to automate workflows while maintaining security, performance, governance, and Salesforce best practices.
- Travel to client sites as needed, estimated at 50–75% for Architect-level roles.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Salesforce platform experience for Senior DevOps Engineer roles, or 10+ years of CRM experience including at least 8 years on Salesforce for DevOps Architect roles.
- Strong experience with DevOps, release management, CI/CD, environment management, version control, branching strategies, and deployment methodologies.
- Expert or strong knowledge of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Experience, Industries/Vlocity, and Data Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce development and deployment technologies, including Metadata API, Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Sandboxes, Change Sets, and Unlocked and Managed Packages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, version-control systems, Docker, test automation, code-quality and security tools, and performance monitoring tools listed in the posting.
- Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to lead projects or support architects on large-scale programs.
- Practical fluency with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce certifications, either active or obtainable upon hire.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
