Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements, customer scenarios, architectures, and feature designs across F5 AI, BIG-IP, NGINX, and Distributed Cloud products.
- Create and automate test scenarios covering AI security, application delivery, security, and orchestration capabilities.
- Develop automated test systems that replicate real-world scenarios and integrate with continuous integration environments.
- Participate in code reviews, submit scripts, incorporate feedback, and review other team members’ automation.
- Analyze test results, report product issues, and assist with troubleshooting and resolution.
- Create technical content and customer and internal-sales demos.
- Communicate status, action plans, and issue resolutions while delivering against schedules.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software testing and/or development, preferably in a Linux environment.
- Strong programming skills in Python for automation, tooling, validation, and security research.
- Knowledge of security, networking, containerization, and L2/L3 network protocol testing.
- Experience or knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and OWASP API Security; LLM knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience with GitHub or other source control management tools is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD and Agile software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer or engineering-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
