Responsibilities
- Build Java and Spring Boot microservice-based enterprise applications.
- Translate product requirements and functional maps into technical designs and frameworks.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and code, while contributing hands-on development when required.
- Validate development builds, provide early feedback, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Oversee and guide multiple development projects while supporting existing applications.
- Design and develop re-engineered funding, withdrawal, cash management, and treasury management modules.
- Build a future-state multi-tenant SaaS platform and expand a messaging hub for customer and bank integrations.
- Enable inbound and outbound ISO 20022 support and align solutions with overall product and technology architecture.
- Support production teams in resolving issues and improving their productivity with supporting tools.
- Develop applications for real-time payments and low-latency systems.
Requirements
- Experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with messaging and integration middleware such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, including web frameworks and micro front ends.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and development.
- Experience with Agile development techniques and process tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA Software.
- Experience with SVN and Git version control systems.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and deployment using Docker containers and Kubernetes.
- A university qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline, or a strong GitHub portfolio showcasing recent projects.
- Good understanding of payment systems, including real-time capabilities, is desirable.
- Understanding of CI/CD and cloud-based deployment opportunities is desirable.
