Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing cloud solutioning, technical workshops, and CXO-level communications.
- Drive application discovery, risk mitigation, performance testing and validation, migration, modernization, and post-migration optimization.
- Design and develop scalable, highly available cloud-native applications, web applications, APIs, microservices, and data integrations on AWS.
- Modernize .NET, Java, and Python applications and apply cloud-native design patterns such as microservices and event-driven systems.
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure, networking, security, resiliency, deployment, monitoring, and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Lead end-to-end migration programs from discovery through mobilization, migration, and modernization.
- Advise on and implement AWS best practices across application development, deployment, and monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of continuous integration and continuous delivery experience.
- Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments and knowledge of core AWS services including EC2, ELB, RDS, Route 53, and S3.
- Experience with databases such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Kinesis.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, the containers ecosystem, or software development.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Deep expertise in large-scale cloud migrations, AWS infrastructure, VMware technologies, and cloud-native application design.
- Preferred: 5+ years of IT implementation experience and expertise designing and implementing cloud computing technologies.
- Preferred: experience leading business software design, development, and deployment at scale or hands-on infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
- Preferred: experience with fully automated machine training, including automatic retraining and testing.
- Preferred: master's degree or PhD in a relevant quantitative or technical field, or equivalent research experience, plus relevant machine learning or algorithm development experience.
