Base Salary

$143k - $304k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical strategy, architecture, and execution for Power BI Growth & Distribution investments.
  • Design and evolve secure, reliable, highly scalable distributed systems serving millions of users across Power BI and Microsoft 365.
  • Partner with engineering, product management, design, data science, and other teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Use telemetry, experimentation, and data-informed decisions to improve activation, retention, and engagement.
  • Drive architecture reviews, engineering best practices, operational rigor, and mentorship across the organization.
  • Influence platform strategy for personalized and collaborative analytics experiences.
  • Lead complex cross-team initiatives and align stakeholders around strategic technical decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check screening upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Preferred: master's degree and 8+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience architecting hyperscale distributed systems, data platforms, or cloud services.
  • Deep expertise in storage systems, large-scale computation frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of privacy, security, compliance, and governance requirements in global cloud and data environments.
  • Ability to drive architectural alignment across large, complex organizations and establish platform standards across multiple products or business units.
  • Strong communication and executive influence skills with experience driving strategic technical decisions.
