Responsibilities
- Develop highly scalable and reliable backend applications for streaming video and content to millions of users.
- Build performant, available, reliable, and secure software and features.
- Develop APIs using self-hosted or application-server-based approaches.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including analysis, implementation, testing, and operation.
- Use containerization technologies and support applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate in cross-functional feature teams, share knowledge, and mentor peers and associates.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and investigate new technologies.
Requirements
- Experience developing with languages such as Java, Kotlin, Node.js, or Go.
- Experience with API development and application servers or self-hosted applications.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Cucumber, Gatling, or JMeter.
- Fluent English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a self-driven, collaborative team.
- Creative thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and innovate.
