Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software solutions and application components.
- Create, analyze, and optimize discrete event simulation models for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements.
- Maintain existing software components and improve their functionality and performance.
- Document software designs, processes, and changes.
- Work independently, contribute to team discussions, and provide solutions to work-related problems.
- Guide junior team members on project requirements and technical challenges.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in discrete event simulation.
- Proficiency in discrete event simulation and the ability to develop effective simulation models.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work with programming languages and tools relevant to simulation and software engineering.
- Understanding of system architecture and integration techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize simulation models.
- 15 years of full-time education required.
