Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate scalable network automation services for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Develop services that automate incident remediation, device upgrades, configuration changes, and network-capacity expansion across thousands of devices.
- Build solutions involving complex distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, network modeling, and device management.
- Support cloud networking, network operations, and high-performance infrastructure in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Participate in the engineering on-call rotation and manage multiple projects and priorities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in network and software development.
- Proficiency with Python or a similar programming language and experience with Linux.
- Proficiency with networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, RSVP-TE, EVPN, and VxLAN.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with cloud computing and networking, service-oriented systems, REST, network automation, device management, or network support.
- Experience in an enterprise, ISP, or cloud-provider environment is preferred.
- Experience with network modeling and programming using YANG, OpenConfig, and NETCONF is preferred.
- Experience with Jira and Git is preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, high-performance computing, and GPU systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational, verbal, written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
