Responsibilities
- Analyze cloud-native tools and frameworks to design Google Cloud solutions that meet client requirements.
- Contribute to cloud solution implementation, automation, service improvement, and cloud migration planning.
- Participate in technical workshops, pilot projects, proof-of-concepts, client proposals, and presentations.
- Build and customize automated cloud-native solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Review customer environments, identify improvement opportunities, and support troubleshooting of cloud-based systems.
- Create solution templates, define new features, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with architects, engineers, product managers, DevOps teams, and customers.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps practices, or cloud solutions; internships, part-time positions, and academic work also count.
- Foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and services including Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Firebase.
- Familiarity with modern software development using Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Understanding of cloud networking, automation, and security practices.
- Strong English communication skills; German or other additional language skills are a plus.
- Google Cloud certification, hybrid cloud connectivity knowledge, and experience with distributed systems or microservices are preferred.
