Responsibilities
- Manage and strategically develop relationships with public authorities and tolling operators.
- Identify market opportunities and support new business acquisition throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Analyze, structure, and document business and technical requirements and create scalable, commercially viable solution concepts.
- Lead interdisciplinary Product Owners, System Architects, and subject-matter experts during proposals, tenders, and solution development.
- Own and prioritize the solution backlog and product or solution portfolio.
- Coordinate solution implementation and customer engagements with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
- Manage workshops, decision milestones, proposals, presentations, customer meetings, industry events, trade fairs, press communications, and digital marketing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales of complex IT solutions.
- Experience in requirements engineering, solution design, and system architecture development.
- Proven ability to acquire new customers, develop market opportunities, and convert opportunities into signed contracts.
- Experience or knowledge in tolling, road-user charging, or electronic fee-collection systems is advantageous.
- Strong sales, customer-orientation, communication, analytical, organizational, teamwork, leadership, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
- Openness to integrating new technologies and artificial intelligence into business solutions.
- Affinity for data and decision-support information.
- Excellent English communication skills; German is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 30–50%.
- Confident and professional presence in customer-facing presentations and discussions.
