Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance testing of medium- to high-complexity software applications.
- Define master test plans and overall testing strategies.
- Thoroughly test software before implementation and document all problems.
- Establish software test standards, methods, quantitative quality measurements, and complex testing procedures.
- Analyze workflows and recommend quality improvements.
- Evaluate software quality assurance products and services for organizational applicability.
- Assist with selecting test engineers for project assignments.
- Mentor and sometimes manage junior-level test engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-10 years of related experience in quality assurance and testing.
- Experience conducting complex software testing and developing test plans and quality standards.
