Responsibilities
- Advise the team on technical approaches that promote engineering excellence.
- Structure actionable plans for delivering effective solutions.
- Architect scalable web APIs and backend systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and solve technical challenges.
- Mentor team members and uphold software development best practices.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions.
- Contribute significantly to critical projects that add customer value.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in building performant web applications.
- Preferred knowledge of React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go.
- Experience with test-driven development in full-stack technologies.
- Proven collaboration with Product & Design for end-to-end product experiences.
- Experience with relational databases and performance optimization.
- Experience leading modernization efforts of legacy systems.
- Ability to simplify complex problems.
