Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain SAP programs, custom extensions, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements for SAP Payroll, time management, and related applications.
- Develop and optimize ABAP programs, payroll drivers, custom reports, BAdI enhancements, BAPIs, and ABAP Workflow solutions.
- Support payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, time evaluation schemas and rules, payroll posting to Finance, off-cycle payroll processing, and year-end payroll activities.
- Integrate SAP Payroll with benefits providers, banks, tax authorities, and other internal and external systems.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications, solution options, estimates, and implementations.
- Conduct code walkthroughs, knowledge-sharing sessions, root-cause analysis, production support, and solution evaluations.
- Support batch-job scheduling, transport management, data exchange, regulatory updates, stabilization, simplification, and SAP performance improvements.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver solutions through an iterative Agile process with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of SAP ECC HCM ABAP development and ABAP Workflow experience specializing in Payroll and Time Management.
- At least 3 years of experience leveraging S/4HANA.
- Expert knowledge of Payroll schemas and rules, Time Evaluation schemas and rules, payroll posting to Finance, and off-cycle payroll processing.
- Demonstrated expertise integrating SAP Payroll with external systems such as benefits providers, banks, and tax authorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- SAP Certified Development – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 certification.
- SAP Certified Application – SAP HCM with ERP certification.
- Preferred qualifications include media and entertainment experience, SuccessFactors and Employee Central experience, SAP BTP experience, SAP API Management experience, SAP Integration Suite/CPI certification, and knowledge of AI/ML solutions in SAP data environments.
