Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate GitLab CI/CD pipelines for safe, repeatable releases.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible across on-premise and AWS resources.
- Package and operate services with Docker and Kubernetes, including declarative configuration and GitOps practices.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Zabbix.
- Participate in on-call rotations and improve platform availability and recovery times.
- Embed security best practices and automate security controls within software delivery pipelines.
- Provision, back up, and migrate MySQL and MongoDB database infrastructure.
- Deploy, scale, and maintain authentication, data pipeline, and messaging services.
- Document runbooks and standards, participate in technical design discussions, and share knowledge through demos, pair programming, and workshops.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role focused on automation, infrastructure, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Terraform or Ansible and at least one monitoring, logging, or alerting system such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Zabbix.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.
- Basic understanding of security best practices in the SDLC and a methodical approach to troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
- Clear English communication and the ability to collaborate in a shared-ownership environment.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with ActiveMQ, open-source contributions, Java or Spring Boot backend concepts, AWS fundamentals including EC2, S3, and IAM, and financial-services or high-throughput data-processing experience.
