Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, integrate, and configure technology solutions.
- Develop software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects aligned with business strategies.
- Implement and support Web Services, REST, MQ, and file-based interfaces.
- Analyze client requirements and resolve functional problems using a traceability framework.
- Integrate solutions with databases using ESQL, Java, Mapping Node, Database Nodes, and stored procedures.
- Test interfaces, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve problems.
- Provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, compliance, standards, and process requirements.
- Communicate effectively with peers, management, clients, and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 7 years of hands-on development experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) is preferred.
- Experience implementing Web Services, REST, MQ, and file-based interfaces.
- Experience testing interfaces with RFHUTIL, Postman, SOAPUI, and other testing tools.
- Experience with JSON, XML, EDI/X12, fixed-length/COBOL, and SWIFT data formats.
- Experience integrating databases using ESQL, Java, Mapping Node, Database Nodes, and stored procedures.
- Experience working with Windows, Unix, Linux, and mainframe operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem resolution, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- IBM ITX, Connect Direct, and Ansible Tower/AWX experience are advantageous.
- Relevant roles at this level typically require 3 or more years of direct industry experience.
