Base Salary

$86k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture of the Azure cloud platform, including scalable landing zones, automated provisioning, governance, and security.
  • Own and evolve Platform-as-Code frameworks for infrastructure, identity, networking, and guardrails.
  • Design and implement multi-environment deployment pipelines using standardized GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins workflows.
  • Build foundational modules and self-service platform components for application and data teams.
  • Develop deployment patterns and self-service modules hands-on.
  • Provide principal-level technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to engineers.
  • Drive cloud platform innovation through tooling, infrastructure-as-code practices, governance automation, and inner-source contributions.
  • Collaborate with security, networking, and DevOps teams to support compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Azure, including compute, networking, identity, storage, security, policy, AKS, and pipelines.
  • Professional exposure to AWS, including IAM, EC2, VPC, ECS/EKS, and CDK.
  • Strong programming skills with TypeScript or Node.js; advanced Python is also acceptable.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code and Platform-as-Code experience using Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, CDK, or similar tools.
  • Expertise building and operating CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Experience designing multi-tenant, secure, enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Preferred: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
  • Preferred: experience building enterprise self-service cloud platforms and architecture experience across networking, security, compliance, and governance.
