Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term vision, architecture standards, execution practices, and multi-quarter roadmaps for enterprise cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
  • Govern global platform administration, Terraform infrastructure architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and foundational infrastructure modules while mentoring senior engineers.
  • Establish documentation and knowledge synchronization standards across DevOps and Analytics Engineering teams.
  • Design data reliability, predictive telemetry, zero-trust parameters, and operational resilience practices for enterprise-scale platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional technical review boards, multi-team infrastructure transformations, platform migrations, and capital resource planning.
  • Embed DataOps and Active Data Governance principles into software delivery pipelines and enterprise data platform operations.
  • Build AI-enabled agent networks and automated workflows in Cursor IDE, Sana, and Gemini to support refactoring, validation, technical-debt management, and portfolio tracking.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional technical leadership experience in DataOps, DevOps, cloud automation, program management, or platform engineering within enterprise data and analytics.
  • 12+ years of experience managing and scaling interrelated data platform products, cluster configurations, and CI/CD networks at enterprise scale.
  • 12+ years of experience influencing VP- and SVP-level stakeholders and driving technical consensus and cross-functional organizational change.
  • Expert-level command of distributed data platforms, cluster budgeting, modern warehouse architectures, Terraform, and hyperscale pipeline orchestration.
  • Preferred hands-on experience or familiarity with GitHub Actions, Snowflake, Fivetran, Sigma, and Atlan or similar enterprise data platforms.
  • Master-level capability directing AI-forward validation and deployment frameworks, autonomous code-generation policies, and enterprise agent networks.
  • Expertise with active metadata layers, data governance, predictive data-trust telemetry, compliance logic, and complex asset lifecycles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in high-pressure enterprise environments, with the ability to act as a change agent and technical thought leader.

Benefits

  • Annualized base salary range of $142,800-$214,200 CAD for the primary Toronto location and additional Canadian locations, with possible eligibility for a bonus plan, role-specific commission or bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.
  • Flex Work combines in-person and remote work, with at least 50% of time each quarter spent in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, or partners.
