Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain software applications and automation services primarily in Python and Java, with Bash and PowerShell scripting.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and Software-defined Networking solutions for an enterprise-scale network.
- Document CI/CD pipelines, architecture, configurations, software assets, and tooling.
- Troubleshoot building systems, pipelines, cloud environments, and virtualized environments to restore services and improve reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, system performance, and operational efficiency.
- Create, maintain, and present network enterprise KPIs, metrics, reports, and dashboards.
- Support deployments, test events, operational support, and other mission activities, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Travel to alternate work locations as needed, with travel expected approximately 10% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of experience, master’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or nine years of relevant work experience in place of a degree.
- Current, active Government-issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher, such as Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, or SCNA.
- Current, active in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- Experience coding in Python and Java and scripting in Bash and PowerShell.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, RESTful API integration, Git-based version control, software development lifecycle practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience building, maintaining, or supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
- Experience with scripting, test automation, and troubleshooting moderately complex system or pipeline issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and work independently on field or deployment projects.
- Ability to travel to alternate work locations and support mission activities outside standard business hours.
- Preferred experience includes C2BMC or Missile Defense System programs, KPI and dashboard development, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, cybersecurity, Ansible, Terraform, VMware Aria, Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes.
