
Senior Product Engineer, Issuer Partnerships

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship tools and AI-assisted workflows that automate issuer-related performance issue resolution and enable proactive detection.
- Build APIs and data services supporting issuing-bank partnerships, data-sharing programs, and issuer-facing data products.
- Create monitoring and measurement systems to make team impact and program performance visible and reliable across merchants, countries, and banks.
- Build, deploy, measure, and iterate on LLM-based applications, including agents, knowledge extraction, and automation solutions.
- Own software from prototype through production and collaborate with data scientists, analysts, relationship managers, and Fraud, Platform, and Gateway teams.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills with experience building and integrating APIs and services from prototype to production.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong data and software development fundamentals in a backend or full-stack environment.
- AI proficiency and enthusiasm for applying current technology to improve individual and team productivity.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, independent-working, and collaboration skills.
- Experience building and shipping software or internal tools, ideally including data-heavy products, automation, or AI applications.
- Experience working in agile environments and delivering high-quality code under tight deadlines.
- Preferred: familiarity with payments, acceptance rates, issuing, or fraud, or the ability to learn the domain quickly.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or Prometheus.
- Preferred: experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Preferred: frontend or dashboarding experience with React or Streamlit.
