Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain machine learning models.
- Develop AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Define the direction of mission-critical AI solutions and guide clients on agentic frameworks.
- Build secure enterprise cloud data foundations, governed ingestion and file exchange, data catalogs, metadata systems, and reusable data products.
- Design event-driven integrations and workflow automation using asynchronous messaging and audit logging.
- Implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices including automated testing, model evaluation, containerization, and delivery automation.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver Air Force business solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java with APIs and data services.
- Experience with technologies or services such as FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, or SQL.
- Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Experience building secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Ability to design event-driven integrations and workflow automation.
- Ability to implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, or model evaluation.
- Secret clearance is required and applicants must meet eligibility requirements for classified information access.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred experience includes geospatial or 3D data, point clouds, LiDAR, photogrammetry, digital twins, facility and asset data models, sensor streams, IoT telemetry, Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, disconnected or air-gapped environments, classified environments, cross-domain data handling, RMF, STIG-aligned delivery, and AI-assisted software development tools.
