Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from design through delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Guide technical direction, mentor less experienced specialists, and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Manage project milestones, budgets, resources, risks, controls, and continuous improvements.
- Contribute to infrastructure and deployment pipeline evolution and operational excellence.
- Advise senior stakeholders and lead collaborative, multi-year assignments.
Requirements
- Experience with software design, programming languages, and software architecture.
- Strong solution definition and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with full software development lifecycle ownership and project milestone delivery.
- Effective leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of full-stack Java development, workflow applications, business rules engines, messaging solutions, databases, and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of the banking domain is valued.
- Ability to work with risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology concerns.
