Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications across frontend, backend, cloud, and data layers.
- Build React, TypeScript, and JavaScript frontend experiences and Go, Java, Python, or Node.js backend APIs and microservices.
- Architect AWS cloud-native solutions with containerized platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and observability.
- Own features end to end from design through deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews while driving scalability, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Implement unit, integration, API, and Cypress-based UI regression testing and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, business stakeholders, and distributed engineering teams.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and delivery status across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent, with 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript, including hooks and functional components.
- Strong backend development experience with Go, Java, Python, or Node.js, including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of system design, distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, performance optimization, networking, authentication, encryption, and secure API design.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Strong AWS experience, including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch, plus Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CircleCI.
- Experience with unit, integration, API, and UI testing using Jest and Cypress, as well as observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with Gemini, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Ability to independently own complex technical initiatives, solve and debug complex problems, communicate effectively, manage stakeholders, mentor engineers, and balance engineering quality with business priorities.
- Preferred experience includes Kafka, AWS EventBridge, SQS, Databricks, Airflow, Temporal, Elasticsearch, enterprise design systems, monorepos, Bazel, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, high-scale SaaS or marketplace platforms, and geographically distributed teams.
